1. Body trim & curb damage

The E63’s long doors and low rocker panels take a beating from curbs and parking blocks. A scuffed or cracked rocker molding quietly ages an otherwise clean car — and it’s a straightforward OEM swap that makes the side profile look right again.

2. Intake & air system

On the N62 V8, a cracked or clogged air intake box and tube can cause rough running, a check-engine light, or a drop in throttle response. A clean OEM intake assembly restores proper airflow and is a much cheaper path than piecing it together.

3. Cooling system (N62 V8)

The N62 engine runs hot and leans on plastic cooling parts that get brittle with age — the coolant expansion tank, hoses, and water pump are the usual culprits. 4. Electronics & comfort

As a top-of-the-range coupe, the E63 packed in a lot of electronics for its era — iDrive, comfort modules, and switches that can act up with age. Many are fixed with a known-good OEM module or switch rather than a costly dealer diagnosis.
